North Georgia Green Jobs Fair This Weekend
ATLANTA – Sustainable Georgia Futures announces the North Georgia Green Jobs Fair will be
held on Saturday, September 10th, from 10:00 am -4:00 pm at West Atlanta Watershed
Alliance’s Outdoor Activity Center, 1442 Richland Rd SW.
The North Georgia Green Jobs Fair will be a first-of-its-kind event featuring interactive and
family-friendly activities all about the green economy. There will be free food, fun music,free
LEED certification opportunities, and more available. Over 20 sustainable employers, schools,
and organizations will be participating in the fair, as well as leading professionals within these
industries facilitating panel discussions and offering demonstrations. Anyone looking to enter
into jobs, academic programs, apprenticeships, and more in these fields are encouraged to
attend.
The overall goal for the North Georgia Green Jobs Fair is to increase awareness about the green
economy within BIPOC communities. At Sustainable Georgia Futures, we believe that whether
you’re new to the green job market or looking for a change in your career, there are
opportunities out there that will help you join Georgia’s growing green economy.
